Halfway between Pattaya and Jomtien. The location (tucked away down a side street) , lends itself to a natural open-air feel. Mike's is part of a chain of Tex-Mex restaurants, originally started in Japan in 2000.
The winning idea for the franchise is clean, fresh , and simple. All meals are prepared from fresh ingredients and nothing leaps out of a can. Mike's is allergic to micro-wave ovens and frozen food.
Mike goes to the market everyday at 0700 and imports dried chillies direct from the USA.
Guacamole is made to order using fresh avocados.Even the limes used in the Margaritas are hand squeezed.
As you would expect, the menu covers: Enchilados, Tacos, Nachos, Burritos, Quesadillas, and Chimichangas.
All rounded off by delicious Tex-Mex cocktails.
