Ruenthai Restaurant was one of our favorite meals in Pattaya. The food was excellent, and the peaceful garden setting with the small waterfall created a relaxing atmosphere that made us want to stay awhile. We came hungry and ordered a little bit of everything. The fish dishes were fresh and flavorful, the roasted chicken was juicy, and every dish we tried was well prepared. The biggest surprise was the yellow chicken curry—it may honestly be the best we've ever had. Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced, it's a dish we'd come back for on its own. The service was friendly, portions were generous, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality. If you're looking for authentic Thai food in a beautiful setting, this place is absolutely worth a visit. We'd definitely return the next time we're in Pattaya.
The most blunt and disappointing food I've tried in Thailand. The cooks know no concept of spices or condiments... I would give it one star, but I give some extras for the ambiance and the live show...
We ate here twice during our visit to Pattaya. It was surprisingly hard to find Thai restaurants in the Walking Street area so we were grateful for Ruenthai! Their Thai food was very tasty, service was fast and I enjoyed the outdoor seating.
Large restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, outside is open with lots of trees and plants also small water feature. Also has a stage where traditional Thai dance and music is performed, I ate very late so no entertainment for me to comment on.The watermelon smoothie was good and tasted of watermelon!!! The chicken in kale I know it's only chicken but it was some of the most succulent moist tasty chicken I have had in a long time.The chicken in banana leaf gave it a distinct flavour not overly pleasant but the accompanying coleslaw/ sauerkraut was delicious and a nice palate cleanser.Not the cheapest of places but for the location design ambiance live show well worth a visit PS did wake up the next day with several Mossie bites be warned.
