Viharn Thep is a Chinese Buddhist shrine, beautifully constructed by the Dharma Rasami Maneerat Foundation. It lies adjacent to the AngSilla market along the seaside road .
It is a 4-storey building decorated in the extraordinary Chinese architectural art and housing various Chinese deity images such as Nacha Sa Thai Chue God and l000--handed Bodhisattva Kwan Yin image, You can climb to the 2nd and 3rd floor to take in a marvelous view of the Ang Silla Bay
The tall red and white poles or dragon sticks that jut up to a height of 35 Meters with the dragons twining around them are wonderful to behold.
Although much less well known than the Viharn Sien close to Wat Yansangwararam, we believe it to be an even better example of the way of the Chinese buddhists.If you are interested in the indicate architecture of this style , we advise you to visit.
