Nice breather between Ban Phe and Mae Rim
Strangely for a tropical climate , close to Ban Phe is a delightful and stricken forest of Pine trees (Dton Son). They form a nice route to the nearby beach and some very welcome shade. The sun glints enticingly through the closely packed branches and trunks that close to form a canopy across the road.
Suan Son makes a great place for a picnic and swim; and as usual there is no shortage of mobile eateries to sell you Thai and International food along the way.
