The newly opened Dolphin - World in Huay Yai is a great family time out. Because it is brand new every part f the facility is immaculate, even the clear water in the dolphin's show pool.
The show itself is pretty spectacular with both the Irrawaddy ,and Bottle-nosed varieties being put through their paces by the trainers. You will see these superb mammals jumping through hoops, playing football and even playing dead. There seems to be a real loving bond between the trainers and their charges. There is a spectacular part in the show where the dolphins launch their trainers many metres into the air.
Despite the fact that they have to put on their show 5 times daily ,they certainly seem to enjoy their work.
The complex also has some souvenir shops and cafes for you to visit when the show is over.
Added in 2012 is the 'Cowboy Town' and ATV area; so that you can enjoy more than just the dolphins on your visit.
Showtimes are 0900,1100,1300,1500,and 1700 and costs 500 Baht and 1850 to swim with the dolphins.
