Great room, food and view. Pretty convenient and not too crowded. The rooftop bar staff though. When I was there on this past Thursday with my friends there were obviously another "reserved" customers which I would completely understand that you wanted to cater to their larger order or whatever but the staff couldn't even say just a moment please or anything and just completely dropped ours conversation mid air as i was trying to order drinks just to seated that table. This happened the entire evening which was mildly embarrassing tbh.
We spent a few days in this wonderful hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. There was a great selection at the breakfast buffet. We will definitely come back. For management: the air conditioning seems to have a problem with humidity. In our room and in our friends' room, the humidity was definitely too high. You felt like you were sticking to the floor, and the clothes hanging in the room were damp.
U Jomtien is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was perfect - incredibly comfortable with a stunning view of the sea. The rooftop pool and bar are beautiful and offer breathtaking sunset views. The breakfast was delicious, and it's a great touch that you can have a full meal delivered to your room if you miss the buffet (which ends at 11:00 AM). The staff were outstandingly kind, helpful, and accommodating. They really go out of their way to meet your needs, specifically with the 24-hour room use policy that allowed for my early check-in and the aforementioned in-room breakfast. The surrounding Jomtien area is lovely, with great seafood restaurants and beaches. 💯 will be coming back here!
What speaks in favor of the hotel is the very friendly and attentive staff. The room and the hotel facilities were clean. The breakfast buffet was very good and offered a nice variety. However, we would not recommend the hotel to our friends due to the poorly designed room concept. The toilet is located openly in the room next to the entrance door and does not have proper ventilation, which can cause unpleasant odors in the entrance area after use. In addition, some of the room furnishings are worn (balcony furniture, mattress, etc.). Unfortunately, the windows are also not well insulated, so noise from the street in front of the hotel can be heard quite clearly.
Initially booked 3 nights at this hotel. Loved it so much we ended up extending our stay by another 3 nights. The staff here are so kind and welcoming, we felt really well taken care of. Big shout out to Por, May, and the rest of the wonderful reception staff and cleaning staff. Location is truly perfect - family friendly, near amazing restaurants and cafes, easy to catch a tuk-tuk or grab, but still far away enough from any loud hustle and bustle of the city. Buffet breakfast here is truly top notch. Great variety of dishes, eggs made to order the way you like, different dishes made daily on rotation and quality is clearly very high. The food is also made more mild to account for a large variety of international guests which is amazing. The deluxe sea view rooms are incredible. The view speaks for itself, sunsets here are unreal. On my next Thailand trip, this is the only hotel in Pattaya I will book. This is a 5 star hotel. Not sure why it's labelled as 4 stars.
