I heard the sunset at Ao Prao is stunning, and after seeing some negative reviews of Winkks, I decided to cancel that booking and make a reservation here instead. When I called, the staff honestly told me that the weather hasn't been great lately, so we might not see the sunset – but we decided to give it a shot anyway. We arrived at 6 pm – it was quite busy, and the sunset-viewing spots were pretty much all taken. Even though we didn't catch a perfect sunset, the afterglow was still beautiful. We ordered a few types of pasta, grilled corn, beef skewers, fried shrimp, and a Thai milk tea. It was super windy in the evening, and sand kept blowing into our food while we were eating by the beach – we ended up moving to another table. The food was decent overall, but I personally didn't like the corn – it was way too sweet. Not great value for money – a bit overpriced. Once is enough for the experience
Excellent restaurant and the best meals we had on Koh Samet. Lovely interiors and great service from Kla and the team who really looked after us. Reasonably priced, really good cocktails and wine and fresh food cooked beautifully.
We had one dinner at the Buzz Coco Club. The food was honestly very good. We had an excellent evening there with a direct view on the beach. Recommend to try the fish !
Great spot for sunset. Cocktail were good. Service slightly slow. Book in advance as it gets busy around sunset time. Beautiful view.
We had a very positive experience at Buzz Coco Club. While the prices reflect that it’s a fine-dining spot on a tourist island, the quality of the food makes it worth it. The flavors were excellent—I highly recommend the poke bowls; both the Salmon and Prawn versions were delicious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the seating is comfortable, and the Caribbean-style background music provides a nice vibe without being too loud.
