I’ve had an absolutely fantastic stay at Surf Beach Hotel from start to finish. What really makes this hotel special is the staff. Every time you walk past the front desk you’re greeted with a smile. The ladies working during the day are always warm, welcoming, kind and genuinely helpful, and the night porter is just as lovely — sometimes even sitting there playing his guitar, which adds to the relaxed atmosphere of the place. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble. My room was very comfortable, with a beautiful view over the Gulf of Thailand, and the housekeeping was excellent. The room was cleaned beautifully every other day and always felt fresh and well looked after. This isn’t a flashy luxury hotel and there’s no swimming pool, but that really isn’t what it’s about. What it does, it does exceptionally well: it provides a very comfortable, safe and welcoming place to stay, right in the middle of everything in Jomtien, with genuinely wonderful people looking after you. Even on my final day, when I needed help arranging transport onwards, the staff immediately helped me sort everything out with a smile. That summed up my whole stay. I’ve felt incredibly welcome here and I’m genuinely sad to be leaving. I would happily stay again and would recommend Surf Beach Hotel without hesitation. A lovely hotel made special by lovely people.
The hotel is clean. It offers such reasonable rates of stay for such a central location. The staff are polite and helpful. There is a restaurant, a coffee shop and an ice cream parlour downstairs and also free parking at the rear with entrance to parking on soi 7. If there is any problem the staff are able to rectify quickly and professionally.
The room has been newly renovated, including the electrical system, and is comfortably decorated. The space is well-organized and used efficiently. The location is right by the roadside and beachfront, offering a sea view and beautiful sunsets. The price is reasonable. Although breakfast is not included, there are many nearby options such as restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and pizza shops. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Housekeeping is attentive, and the towels and bedding are clean. However, it is unfortunate that there is no elevator. Elderly guests should consider staying on the 2nd–3rd floors. There is private parking available behind the building, and Wi-Fi is provided. The rooms are well soundproofed and quiet. Recommended for those looking to relax and enjoy water activities. A true ocean view, excellent service from friendly staff. A restaurant, Amazon Coffee and ice cream shop located in the hotel lobby. Great off street parking. The room was clean and comfortable with coffee and kettle and a nice TV….. but who needs a TV with all the Live entertainment on beach road :) .
The reception staff provided excellent service. The rooms were comfortable and had a beautiful view.
