A good place to stay. Just a little bit far from the malls but if you wanted just relax and be peaceful stay this area but it you wanna go to have fun and party I suggest book a hotel near the malls/central Pattaya. Their hotel service is very good too. One thing about the shower curtain, it is not that long causing the floor to be wet after shower.
I had one of the most beautiful sunset experiences during my stay at Bay Beach Resort Jomtien. I stayed in a corner room with a sea view, and the view was absolutely stunning, especially during sunset. Waking up and seeing the ocean right from the room was truly special. If you’re booking, I highly recommend requesting a room above the 5th floor, as there’s a tower in front of the building that can partially block the view on lower floors. The higher floors offer a much clearer and more breathtaking sea view. The staff were very nice and helpful throughout my stay. I arrived early, so instead of waiting in line at reception, I left my luggage at the concierge, completed the check-in process and deposit, and went out to explore. I visited the floating market and returned around 3 PM, by then the reception area was empty, and I quickly collected my key. It was a smooth and convenient experience. The pool area was well maintained and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. The food at the hotel was also amazing, I really enjoyed the meals there. While Jomtien Beach itself isn’t the best for swimming, as the water was a bit dirty, the sea view from the room more than made up for it. Overall, I had a fantastic stay with great service, beautiful views, and a very comfortable room. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Pattaya.
Spacious room, comfy bed and pillow. Toilet/shower with bath. It'd be great if a small towel was provided. Pool and gym look great although I didnt get to use. Parking available both outdoor and indoor. Friendly and polite staff, ready to service all guests. Feel a bit scared at night time as there is no second locl at the door. There were people knocking/shaking doors next door and it was so loud. Food was ok but less variety than expected given the size of the hotel. I got to use only the Coral one not sure if another one served the same menu. Could have done better with more variety of food and also coffee. Meeting room was spacious but its stereo system could have been improved. Microphone, sound, screen were not as good as it should be. No restrooms nearby so had to go to another building.
I stayed 6 nights at Bay Beach Resort Pattaya in January. Total price was around 15,000 THB, which is good value for a 4-star hotel. The room is spacious and comfortable, with excellent air conditioning, a TV, bathtub, daily bottled water, and daily housekeeping. Cleaning is reliable, although it often happens quite late in the afternoon (around 4 pm), so sometimes I had already returned from the beach and skipped it. The hotel clearly has a long history of operation, and some areas show wear and tear. Small details like mirror trims, parts of the bed headboard, and slightly stained curtains suggest that parts of the hotel would benefit from renovation. Nothing dramatic, but noticeable. Breakfast is very Thai-style. Think more lunch than European breakfast. There are fruits, yogurt, eggs, rice, and local dishes, but very limited cold cuts, no cheese, and few gluten-free options beyond rice and eggs. This was fine for me, but Western breakfast lovers should manage expectations. The pool area is nice, located between two tower buildings. It gets sun from morning until around 2 pm (January). The water is quite cool and refreshing, which is actually pleasant given daytime temperatures of 30–35°C. Pool service is sometimes good, sometimes slow — but honestly, there’s never a rush. Pool towels are included but quite small, so you’ll likely want two. There are only about 10 sunbeds, and once they’re taken, they’re gone. One downside is the music at the pool area. The same one-hour playlist plays repeatedly all day. It’s rather melancholic pop music and gets very repetitive after a few days. If you book a City View room (facing the pool), be aware that you will hear this music every day until around 11 pm. I stayed on the 4th floor, and it was clearly audible. Light sleepers or early sleepers may want a Sea View room instead. Overall, this is a solid 4-star hotel with good value for money: comfortable rooms, good AC, decent pool, and friendly service. Not luxury, but reliable — just manage expectations regarding breakfast, music, and minor wear and tear.
