Love the hotel location. It’s close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. We stayed in a junior suite pool access connected to a twin room. The room is old but functional. No universal plug so you need to have an adapter for your devices. The bed is not too hard. Linen and towels are clean. Water pressure was good. Hot shower doesn’t seem to work very well. The floor in the bathroom is very slippery when wet so need to be very careful. A/C works very well. TV is a smart TV so you can watch Netflix or YouTube, etc. There’s a microwave in the junior suite room. Staff is friendly. The pool has a good depth, 1.35m. Pool temperature is comfortable even on a rainy day, we don’t feel cold swimming in the pool. My concerns are broken tiles at pool where you step in and out of the pool and also broken wooden floors around the pool. Need to be careful when walking around. Overall, the hotel is nice but it has rooms for improvement.
We booked the Beach Junior Suite with Pool Access for 4 days and 3 nights. The room was a bit old but still cozy and comfortable. Our main concern was the sliding door lock. It couldn't be properly locked and could be opened quite easily, which felt unsafe. Since our room was the last one and faced the beach, it seemed like someone could potentially access the room from outside through the sliding doors. Another downside was the gym. Several pieces of equipment weren't working, and when we asked for assistance, the staff weren't able to help or resolve the issue. The breakfast was okay. It was a continental breakfast. Tried their food also in their restaurant. Price is fair and large serving also. Overall, the location is excellent. The beach is right in front of the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and other establishments nearby. If we come back, we'd probably book one of the regular rooms instead of the more expensive pool access suite, as we didn't feel it offered enough added value—especially considering the privacy and security concerns.
I can't say enough about how good my experience at Avalon Beach Resort was. The staff were friendly and willing to assist. The facilities were excellent. The location is perfect, central to many bars and restaurants. The rooms are upmarket, I really enjoyed using the bathtub for long relaxed soaking. Also the breakfast buffet had a good variety of dishes, breads, fruits, yogurts, salad, with a variable coffee machine. It was definitely worth spending my money there. A big thank-you to the management and staff at Avalon beach resort.

The large pool set in a tropical garden is a highlight, just steps away from the beach. Dining at Beach Kitchen is also a lovely experience, especially in the evening with sea views and live music. A perfect choice for a quiet, comfortable seaside getaway. 🌊✨
My family and I were very happy with the room itself, the location and the pool. It was very close to different restaurants and shops on the main beach road in Jomtien. The pool was large and it wasn't too busy because most people went to the beach. Breakfast had a pretty good variety of foods to choose from, even though the line for the coffee was a bit slow. There were some nice staff, but one young lady in the restaurant was quite rude when I asked for something, or mentioned they were running low on an item. While the bedroom was very nice and spacious, with its Thai styling, the biggest letdown was the bathroom and plumbing. The taps on the sink were very fiddly to turn off, the toilet often keep flushing, so I had to manually open the tank and place the cap over the pipe. And on 3 separate occasions during our week there, a smell from the bathroom drains went through the whole room. The staff came to fix it and it was fine for a day, but came back.
